Hi guys
This is just a shout-out regarding the 90 minute race at CMS last night. It was held at the Fuji track using the high speed 1993 layout. A great track for the Enduro cars!
First, I held my ground with the Prototypes and found some respect there and had no problems with them until a few laps from the end. It was a very rough opener with a lot of secondary contact due to accidents in front. I stayed on the track the whole race except for a brain fade at the first corner and ran on into the gravel without incident. With 3 laps to go I got sandwiched between two Protos and was spun around in a 180 driving backwards with my heart in my mouth, into the last chicane but still on the blacktop. I owe my recovery to all the years I have been doing that on the winter roads here in Canada with my crazy rear happy Celicas. Lol :D
So I started 19th of 27 cars driving the Saleen, finished 18th. Not to bad as I was in 27th place at lap 5. Finished 4th in class of 9 GT1s. I am still pumped 12 hours later.

Congratulations, always nice to get a good finish. I know the buzzing feeling afterward.

Sounds like you had a lot of fun and a great time racing. Gaining back so many positions is very good! :o

Yikes
I finally did it. I finished 3rd in class in the rumbling tumbling Ford. I took the Saleen to my first rfactor podium tonight at CMS on the tight and unforgiving Rouen Les Essart track. 90 minutes of mayhem. Scary stuff but a hell of a ride. Last race of the season so I didit just in time. 👽
