ALMS Mosport

Hi Guys
Hope all is well with you and you are all still racing hard. Last weekend I was at Mosport for a round of the ALMS. Here is a link to some photos I took while humping it around the track and thought you may enjoy. There are some mighty big hill there and I near wore my self out but I had a blast.

Hi Michael, it seems the team is idle at the moment. It's probably because of me, I am not sure at all. Anyway I have no contact to Richard and Artur. So I am not sure what they're doing at the moment but I hope that everybody is well.

As for me, I have no time for racing at the moment because I am about to start my final exams (registration is on October 15th) and I still have some work to do.

I hope everybody is doing fine and in the best of health. I surely hope that at one point in the future we can race together again.

Summer has been busy for me so I have just recently started to involve myself again in competition. Back in the LMP2 at CMS for the second half of the 2013 season with a 4th and 2nd over the last 3 races.

Still doing the Race Connect once a month Nordschleife races. I just like the track so much I hate to miss an opportunity to drive it. Opted for the Aston for a change. Finely got to finish one of the three I started. First one I got hit by a warping Aston next interrupted by a phone call so my first one up in the Aston put me 8th. Got a flat and lost 2 places. My first flat ever and I could not figure where all the smoke was coming from as the engine was fine.

Since I did the race in the Porsche 962 with Richard I have been trying to follow that series. I have a new neighbour who happens to be a sim racer. He has a very impressive kit with 3 monitors in 3D, the Fanatec wheel and pedals, full racing seat and about anything you may have on your wish list. I tried it. Really amazing but unfortunately I was not any faster. Dan and I are signed up to do the 6 hours at Spa with the HSO 87 Group 8. Should be fun. 

I have purchased rfactor2 and I have been attempting to use it participating in CMS races. The last update fixed some tire issues so it is getting better. I found a Logitech G25 wheel and replaced mine. The guy who owned it broke the peddles and shifter but the wheel is like new. My old one had an error on the board inside the wheel so I am happy to have one I can program again. The old one was very worn out and this new one is tight and accurate to my inputs. Nice! 

Hope all is well with you guys. I see Tony has arrived in Australia and is still collecting parts for his Porsche.
